To investigate the ignition characteristics of an axial-flow injection burner for a Stirling engine, combustion chamber was designed. Diesel used as fuel and oxygen oxidant. The experiments were carried out with electric plug igniter. under different pressure, pre-oxygen supply time, flow position studied. experimental results show that, increase time increases gradually, success rate decreases gradually. is related to in certain range, while has little effect.
